Everest, the tallest mountain on the planet has a romantic and tragic mountaineering history with the Mallory and Irvine story, the ‘Into Thin Air’ tragedy, Messener’s epic solo and supplementary oxygen free ascent and the ascent of the mighty South West Face being just a few of the legends surrounding this majestic mountain. The trek to Everest Base Camp is among the most dramatic and picturesque in the Himalaya. The scenery is varied and spectacular, the lodgings and tracks are of a very high standard, and the interaction with the local Sherpa people is truly memorable, and always accompanied by some of the most spectacular Himalayan peaks.

Day 03: Kathmandu, fly to Lukla 2743m and then trek to Phakding 3-4 hrs
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3440m 5 hrs
Day 05: Acclimatization Day Namche Bazaar
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Deboche 3870m 6 hrs
Day 07: Deboche to Dingboche 4410m 6 hours
Day 08: Acclimatisation Day in Dingboche
Day 09: Trek Dingboche to Lobuche 4910m 6-7 hrs
Day 10: Trek Lobuche to Gorak Shep 5140m 3-4 hrs. Then onto Everest Base Camp 5364m and return to Gorak Shep
Day 11: Ascend Kala Pattar for the spectacular sun-rise on Everest and then descend to Pheriche 8 hrs
Day 12: Trek to Tengboche Monastery 5 hrs
Day 13: Trek to Mondo 5 hrs
Day 14: Trek from Mondo to Lukla 6 hrs
Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu
