Ian is from the UK but has been closely associated with Nepal for 20 years and spends most of his time here. When he and Sarita set up the company they looked for a name that gave an indication of the sort of treks they would deliver, Off the Wall seemed to fit the bill! Ian has over 50 years of experience of working in the mountains including leading people in Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, Ladakh, Tibet, India and Nepal.
Sarita Lama is from the Tamang community and has a background in community health and trekking issues. She worked for 6 years as a nurse for Community Action Nepal and has lived in many remote communities in the middle hill districts of Nepal delivering community health care programs, empowering the work of the Mothers’ Groups and offering support with many different aspects of community life.
Ms. Sangita Lama currently serves as the Sales and Marketing Director at Off The Wall Trekking, a company founded in early 2015 with a strong motivation and enthusiasm to provide unique and client-oriented tourism services in Nepal. She embarked on her journey with us in 2015 as a Reservation Assistant, showcasing her commitment to our organization.
