Everest, the tallest mountain on the planet has a romantic and tragic mountaineering history with the Mallory and Irvine story, the ‘Into Thin Air’ tragedy, Messener’s epic solo and supplementary oxygen free ascent and the ascent of the mighty South West Face being just a few of the legends surrounding this majestic mountain.
